Help / Notes and signing / Sign a clinical record

Sign a clinical record

Signing is the moment a reviewed draft becomes the record. Until you sign, nothing is final. Kadara never finalizes a record on its own.

Your signature is a deliberate act. It marks that you have reviewed the content, that it reflects the visit, and that you take clinical responsibility for it.

Before you sign

  • You have reviewed the draft and corrected anything that was wrong.
  • The clinical content is complete and reflects your decisions.
  • You are ready to take responsibility for it as the record.

What signing does

Once you sign, the content becomes part of the clinical record. Any open follow-ups the visit created stay visible on that record until they are done.

No auto-finalizeThere is no background commit and no exception. A record only exists once a clinician has signed it. Kadara prepares; you decide and sign.
