What happens to recorded audio
When a consultation is recorded, it is recorded with consent and used only to prepare a draft. The audio is deleted after it has been transcribed.
Recording is there to save you writing during the visit. It is handled carefully, and it is never a substitute for your review.
What happens to the audio
- Recording needs consent. A consultation is only recorded with the patient's consent.
- It is used to prepare a draft. The recording is transcribed so Kadara can lay out a structured draft for you to review.
- The audio is deleted after transcription. Once the transcription is made, the audio recording is deleted.
Good to knowThe draft that comes from a recording is still just a draft. You review, correct and sign it, the same as any other. For more on how your data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
