Understand payment status

Kadara keeps the payment status of a visit on the same record as the care. A visit moves through three simple states, so you can see what is still outstanding.

The three states

  • Due. An amount is owed for the visit, recorded against it.
  • Awaiting payment. The amount is outstanding and has not been settled yet.
  • Paid. The amount has been paid.

Because the status sits on the visit it belongs to, you can see what is outstanding without leaving the record, and payments do not quietly go untracked.

ImportantKadara tracks the payment status of a visit. It is not a bank and does not hold, move, or collect funds itself, and it is not an insurer or a claims processor. Whether a claim is accepted or paid is decided by the payer, not by Kadara.
